"Willie, There’s Something Fishy About Those Kids!" SEA 2 EAT

Picture the scene: it’s a gorgeous May day and myself and Kelly have spent an afternoon armed with clipboards and a list of foodie questions whilst making our way around the wonderful cafes, restaurants and delis of Blairgowrie. We’ve chatted to everyone and are getting ready to head off home after our last stop - Little’s Restaurant at The Wellmeadow. Little’s is a fish restaurant, owned and run by the inimitable Willie Little; recent winner of a Love To Eat Food Oscar and undoubtedly one of Perthshire’s leading eateries we’re only too eager to take up Willie’s offer of a coffee and a seat after our daypacing the streets.

When the Cheese Lady came to tea.

“You have to be a romantic to invest yourself, your money, and your time in cheese.” ―  Anthony Bourdain , Les Halles, New York. From his book Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook .

I have always been a cheese lover; ever since I was a small girl and my granddad sat me up on the garden bench with an odd shaped tomato from the greenhouse, a few slivers of fresh cucumber from the hot frame and a big chunk of strong Scottish Cheddar I have loved cheese.
